Hi.

I’m Nat. I’m a writer, a translator, and it seems an eternal student as well. But I’m not complaining. I’m doing what I like to do, where I want to do it, and by the side of whom I want to be. Life seems pretty swell over in my corner of the world.

I have written about all sorts of topics. I have blogs in English, Spanish and German in which I rant about whatever is troubling me at the time of posting – mostly the weather. But for once I wanted to have a blog with a very specific topic: Literary Reviews and Criticisms.

In this blog you will find all sorts of papers, essays, reports, reviews and criticisms of literary pieces (novels, essays, poems, short stories, plays) that I have written in the past decade. You can of course use this material for free – but you are NOT allowed to plagiarise. Not only is it ethically and morally wrong; it’s also illegal. But mostly, it’s unfair. It’s unfair to me. It’s unfair to me because I sat down and I thought up every single one for the brilliant phrases in every one of these essays, and if you use them as your own, you are saying that you are brilliant, not me. So just play fair. Quote me, cite me, reference me. And when I have quoted, cited or referenced someone else, give due credit.

I guess what I am trying to do with this blog is getting people to read. People should read. Read anything. Even Stephanie Meyers. Find something you like, something that interests you, and read about it. Hopefully one of these reviews and criticisms will intrigue you enough to get you to read the original piece. And then, who knows, you might even write your own reviews.
